Behind the scene - Kungfu Panda Project

Firstly , Alhamdulillah... walaupun tak ramai mana yang support bila Poek decide untuk buat business ni full time (ok, nanti saya buat entry tentang poek decide nak buat fulltime business and cemana dia leh ambik keputusan tu), kami dikelilingi ahli keluarga yang menyokong minat dan business ini...especially my mak ila, my sisters and bro inlaw...

ok gambar kat atas ni ialah adik ipar ila; Datu Firdaus...panggil dat je...dia ni engineer tapi sangat suka bertukang2...ingat tak kami punya frame utk cupcakes twillight last year, yang tu dia lah yang design... so bila Maiz baru2 ni nak order kek kungfu panda, ila n poek pening la jugak...tak pernah buat kek berdiri lagi tp kalau tolak order ni sayang pulak...hehe bukan sebab duit semata tp sbb experience dan peluang mencabar diri....

so poek discuss dengan dat...design design atas kertas...ukur2 and bla bla bla bla... kitaorg bertuah sbb bukan kitaorg je tak nak tolak peluang mencabar diri, Dat pun tak nak lepaskan peluang...

then lepas tu Dat pun start buat projek bertukang nya.... dengan pelbagai alatan...

ok gambar kat bawah ni gambar selingan je...ketua pengawas sedang memantau kerja engineer terlatih ni...heheh

Dat angkut seme tool box and apa2 ntah nama brg yg kitaorg tak tau...kitaorg tau barang buat kek aje...lain2 kitaorg tak tau... :p

Tada...ni akhirnya.... berjaya.... yeyyy... customer pun suka...

kitaorg suka berangan... kitaorg berangan nak ada rancangan TV macam cake boss tu...heheh kalau betul betul impian jadi kenyataan in the future, our featuring artist mesti lah Dat...

Thanks Dat for your support and effort... lepas lepas ni harap adalah org nak order cake cake macam ni lagi ye... jangan la risau sgt tentang harga tu...baik tanya kami kot kot boleh win win situation :p

Bowling cake

Bowling cake... ni adalah cake bowling kedua kalau tak silap kami... maaf saya tak ingat siapa nama yang order ni...huhuh sebabnya dah lama jugak dah kek ni... maaf ye... tapi saya ingat butiran yang di order something like this "kek ni utk CTO TNB, botak dan pakai spec " heheheh cute kan...

nak buat figurine orang tengah main bowling, maka poek buat dulu structure nya, guna dawai kerasa tapi halus yang org guna untuk buat bunga telur tu... dah siap structure baru boleh construct figurine nya... heheh memang rumit tapi kalau tak buat tulang ni nanti figurine tu berdiri kaku saje... tulang ni kena buat proportionate, kalau tak senget pulak figurine nya kan...

hasilanya , tadaaa.... alhamdulillah...saya ingat lagi customer yang baik hati ni bagitau boss mereka sungat kek ni and siap bawa balik figurine tersebut :) Terima kasih si dia yang mengorder...ada rezeki kita jumpa lagi...

Smurfs in the house

Cake ni ordered by my Partner in Crime (PIC)...Sity... orang bertanggungjawab ajar saya buat cupcakes 5 tahun lepas...sekarang dia penyokong utama business kami... cake ni untuk anak dia Widya.

ada ramai orang tanya harga cake kami, kenapa tak publish... er sebabnya cake kami ni semua custom made... makna customer pilih isi dalamnya (flavor cake), size kek dan deco... ada yang tanya cake fondant lebih mahal ke buttercream cake lebih mahal... jawapan saya : it depends on overall of the cake... cuba tengok kek widya ni. decorating nya buttercream sahaja... tapi lukisan di atas dan kelilingnya sangat detail. lukis guna buttercream semata dan bukan edible image. untuk lukis keseluruhan kek ini ambil masa lebih kurang 2 jam. tak boleh lukis cepat2 nanti comot dan tak cantik...

Happy bila dapat tau yang Widdy suka kan kek nya .. thanks sity for your support :) glad knowing someone ambitous like u...Chaiyok!!!

Volkswagon Golf R Cake

This cake is very very special... Ordered by someone I admire so much. Ordered by Fishie for her beloved husband; Pojee. It is his 40th Birthday.

Fishie contacted me when we were in Makkah, asking if we can make the special VW cake with figurine of a man with spec, wearing Superman attire? and the date was something like 3 days after we touch down KL. errrr.... can i say No to fishie? Of course not... She is my good friend, she is someone very successful so if she made an effort to contact me while am in Makkah, means she really trust us both... so of course I would say yes...

To those wonder who is Fishie? She is the backbone of Manggis and Celebrate TV, also hubby's unimate.

Thanks Fishie for the order. Thanks for the invitation to Pojee's birthday celebration at Flora Terrace.... :)

Taj Mahal kek again...maaf... ni dah few months back rasanya... saya pun dah lupa siapa yang order..huhuhu.. nak update blog dari sehari ke sehari asyik tertangguh aje... nak kata busy melampau tak juga...

btw, kek taj mahal ni rumit pembuatan nya...walaupun kira dah ada experience sbb dah pernah buat dulu tapi ya ampun lama giler nak siap kan..heheheh saya tukang bake saje, saya nampak Poek yg bertungkus lumus siap kan kek ni... tapi poek kan cool, so dia tak mengeluh la...saya asyik tanya "sempat ke siap ni"...sambil senyum senyum je jawab ..."sempat..."

anyway, thanks kepada si baik hati yang mengorder ye :).

Notes : mungkin lepas ni kat bawah kena tulis la sapa yg update blog...sbb nya kadang2 ila, kadang poek :p

More and more birthday cakes we've prepared last month :). Thanks to all valuable customers. May Allah SWT bless us all.

Kungfu Panda

I can assure you, why we take this order tho at that time we already said we are not going to take order 3 weeks before Umrah, but this cake is really a challenge for us... This first time ever we've built a structure for the Panda to stand. Thanks to my bro in law Datu Firdaus for his hardship preparing the structure...

We are very very proud of the cake. Thanks Allah for giving us the opportunity to keep exploring various technique in making a beautiful halal delicous cake for our customer.

Thanks so much to Maiz and family for the order :)

Toys Story in the house again!!!

2 tiers birthday cake with Woody and Jesse figurines... Thanks dear for the order :)

cars cake

Its a rainbow layer with buttercream icing, theme of Cars... its quite detail drawing at every inch of the cake. to those who wonder how we do the drawing, is it a tracing a technique or not. I am happy to inform you that Hubby (Poek) which is our designer is a very talented artist so he hand drawn all the images without any tracing technique. I thankful to the Allah SWT for that :)

To our customer, thanks so much for the order.
