ordered by our repeat customer. last year they both ordered for their hantaran cake (the manchester united ball and shoes as well as the pink volkswagon cake), and today they are blessed witha cute baby girl name Wan airis Medina.

colorful polkadots

Its our first time making polkadots theme.. we enjoy doing it...it looks so cute and am in love with polkadots.. Thanks Watie for the order but am very sorry for not able to attend as we attended Syahmi's year end school concert which happened on the same time and date.

speaking about polkadots, am going to introduce polkadots cupcake box (single cupcake) in pink, blue and yellow color very soon. InsyaAllah :)

lightning mc queen

Its Lightning Mc Quee again... personally, i love this cake so much... its our furst time carving the mc queen, yup we had carved mini cooper, and volkswagon before but never Ligtning Mc Queen.. Thanks for the order :)

Powerpuff Girls

Powerpuff girls in the house, for Afea's 3rd birthday celebration... requested it to be in pastel clors with green as a theme color...A vanilla marble cake with shades of green. Thanks so much for the order :)

The Special Agent OSO

Ordered by Shana...the 3D definitely not my original design as Shana printed the original design from the web and gave it to us, she wanted the same design...so whoever the original decorator, if you happen to read my blog please let me know, I will put your link here.

The other one is 2D design... actually Shana ordered a buttercream 2D cut put cake but due to misunderstanding between ila and poek, so it turned out to be think cut out...Alhamdulillah Shana is such an understanding customer, so we've sold the cake to her at a very very minimal cost.

simple hantaran cake

Raudha, a repeat customer of ours... she had ordered few cakes from us before...either for her mum, sister and friends..but never for herself (welll as long as I remember)... this time around, she gave me a very short notice, due to very last minute decision of the majlis merisik bertukar menjadi majlis bertunang...

opss very short notice but how could i say no to someone very sweet like Raudha... someone very supportive towards us... Raudha wanted a simple cake... similar like Elsa's that we've made before... but without the heart shape and without the box...

Raudha loves grey and white, her mum request it to have dash of pink in order to suit the rest of hantaran...

With a short notice given, with a guidelines from Raudha and her mum....its simple from my eyes, but certain people think less is more... for us here in RizqCakes, we will try our level best in meeting customer's expectation and request...Alhamdulillah, Raudha is happy with the outcome and she smsed me on how happy she is with the cake... Thanks Raudha for the order, and Congratulations dear :)

Jake and the pirates

Never watched Jake and the pirates before...my kids mungkin pernah nengok but not us... never made and deco Jake and the pirates theme before...But that doesnt stop us to come out with this cake...

Hasif, the bright bday boy loves this cartoon very much, requested for Jake and the pirates cake...Dilla came and discussed with me briefly around 2 months before the event date... on what she wanted and expected..

This is Mat... a happy dad..smiling while taking the cake for the cake cutting...

Well, its never easy actually to make customer's smile... for this particular cake and occasion, i can describe as "breathtaking"... the moment, we assemble the cake at thier house, Hasif was jumping and keep saying "Oh ma go... jake n payet... take a look!..aweaome " (Oh gosh! jake and the pirate, take a look, its awesome)... we missed to capture how his face look like but it was really really made our day... yes, actually we are so far did our level best of all our cakes but its not always we can experience this kind of moment...either we do not know the customer too well or either we cant attend the bday party due to our prior arrangement... but this time, Alhamdulillah despite few other family matters happened earlier, we've made it to the event...

for dilla and mat, as long as Hasif happy, they will be happy too....

Hasif and mummy blowing candle... from the moment he blew the candle..he was guarding the cake for few minutes afraid someone took away his Jake... and everytime he saw his mum cut the cake, he keep saying "Its gone! Its gone!"...

Ariel the Mermaid

Thanks Ellie for the order, and of course for these 2 photos... Ellie wanted a rainbow layer cake with a cream cheese icing with a fondant figurine or Ariel wearing dress...

We are worry, really worry of :-

1. our princess figurine not as nice as our bob the builder...if u understand what i meant...our human figurine not as nice as our cartoon character figurine...so we are worry about that but Ellie confident with us... Alhamdulillah...

2. Ellie wanted the rainbow cake with 6 layers of cake with layers of cream cheese in between...with just cream cheese topping and without fondant... my worry is my cream cheese is bit soft, easy to melt... well well welll... many other bakers have very nice smooth and stable cream cheese but not ours... But, if Ellie is confident with us, why not ourselves give a try kan...


Ellie is kind heartedly sent me email and both photos here, informing me that she and the rest of her family including her mother in law and of course the lucky bday girl are very happy with the cake... despite just a simple deco (i believe the beauty of rainbow layer cake lies on the cake itself...the colorful cake...instead of the outer layer deco)... according to Ellie, the cake fit the overall table setting and deco...
Alhamdullilah... May Allah granted us more energy and creativity to keep baking and decorating more and more tasty and beautiful cakes/cupcakes in the future...

Lightning McQueen on top of the hill

This cake was made for Ilham's 6th birthday. He would like to have his cake with McQueen's character in it. so, when I design it in front of him and her mother, they love this design instead of only a carved McQueen's cake.. I personally love this design too.. it was more challenging and fun to make.. hope Eam loves it too. Thanks Fishie, Pojie, Eam and Caca for the order..
