saya tidak sempurna... kek kek saya juga tidak sempurna... walaupun setiap kek yg dihasilkan, saya cuba pastikan yang saya sudah mengikut kehendak pelanggan... walaupun setiap kek itu pasti mengikut budget yang pelanggan nak, dan saya pastikan setiap kek itu berbaloi dengan harga yang di bayar... tapi saya masih tidak sempurna dan tak lari dari buat kesilapan... jadi saya minta tolong, kalau ada pelanggan yang tak puas hati dengan kek saya, boleh la beri tau pada saya supaya saya boleh improve diri dan tak ulang kesilapan yang sama pada pelanggan lain... jangan la cuma beri komen secara terbuka dan dgn nama "anonymous"...saya takde kuasa magic utk detect dimana kesalahan yang telah saya buat...saya ada ramai kawan2 yang selalu tolong promote kek saya... kesian mereka promote kek saya sedangkan kualiti kek saya tak seberapa...

jadi saya minta tolong anda yang baik hati, sekiranya ada kesilapan yang saya buat sewaktu berjual beli dengan anda, harap dapat bagitau saya... saya cuma seorang pembuat kek yg tidak sempurna maka ketidaksempurnaan itu terpancar di atas kek kek saya...

This 2 cakes were ordered by our friend Yang that had just returned from Japan. They are for their 2 kids.. one a big fan of Star Wars and another one, a princess.. So we've made this two cakes for them..

actually the darth vader figurine was the second one as the first one we made had melted.. yes, it was melted due to the strong humidity when it rains heavily in KL a few days straight. Our fondant figurine had been affected too. at first the darth vader was standing and pose with the light saber, after a few hours the figurine had fallen down.. huhuhu I forgot to take the picture... anyway, the new one is still posing like a cool darth vader, sitting with dignity.. :)

we got the order from a friend of a friend of my wife, (err.. is it like that?) anyway.. when the party was on, we never knew who would come.. in this 'BET's' cake case.. wife of poek's friend from high school is a friend of Bet.. and when they were chatting and asking about our cake, they knew about us immediately.. and then came the message.. 'Pari kirim salam kat Poek'.. knewing the name, I immediately recall about Pari or Farihan Azizan my batchmate and dorm mate in form 1.. 'waalaikumussalam Pari, lama tak jumpa ko ek..' ... :) wow.. thank god, when doing this part time business, there are a lot of unexpected things and reconnection of long lost friend happens... anyway, thanks for the order. hope you all had fun!

Twilight Saga kembali lagi... kali ni Breaking Dawn part 1.. Sunie yg dah menjadi pelanggan setia kami tiap kali twilighters Malaysia berkumpul sekali lagi memberikan kepercayaan kepada RizqCakes untuk salah satu highlights sempena tayangan perdana filem ni.

Ila as the marketing chief bertindaklah mencadangkan satu showcase from us bertemakan Twilight saga Breaking dawn ni.. Fuad as the designer and artist buat lah design of how the cake will look like, we want to make the cake standing up and kita boleh bergambar sebelah kek2 tu.. memang berdebar jugak masa suggestion tu diutarakan.. ye la, tak pernah buat, frame untuk cake ni pun tak ada lagi masa tu.. Luckily we have a brother in law yg sangat pandai bertukang, dan kami serahkan projek utk buat design frame tu pada dia. selama ni pernah tengok pun cake maker yg dah ada show sendiri kat TV je buat custom made frame utk kek ni.. huhuhu..

DC cupcakes dan segala macam cake program kat TV adalah salah satu inspirasi kami untuk mencabar kemampuan kami dalam menghasilkan kek seperti tersusun dalam gambar kat bawah2 ni.. Yey!! With all the hard work, determination, well planned, family and friend support yang tak berbelah bagi akhirnya, kami berjaya menghasilkannya... Alhamdulillah...

Terima kasih tak terhingga kepada Dat and Angah for their support dengan menghasilkan stand frame yg sangat hebat ni! memang berbaloi effort yg dicurahkan.. hasilnya sangat mengagumkan.., tak lupa gak kat sity yg sanggup ambik cuti tolong kitorang setup, she's been a great support for our passion in cake making ni.. Ordered by Shana...the 3D definitely not my original design as Shana printed the original design from the web and gave it to us, she wanted the same design...so whoever the original decorator, if you happen to read my blog please let me know, I will put your link here.

The other one is 2D design... actually Shana ordered a buttercream 2D cut put cake but due to misunderstanding between ila and poek, so it turned out to be think cut out...Alhamdulillah Shana is such an understanding customer, so we've sold the cake to her at a very very minimal cost.

simple hantaran cake

Raudha, a repeat customer of ours... she had ordered few cakes from us before...either for her mum, sister and friends..but never for herself (welll as long as I remember)... this time around, she gave me a very short notice, due to very last minute decision of the majlis merisik bertukar menjadi majlis bertunang...

opss very short notice but how could i say no to someone very sweet like Raudha... someone very supportive towards us... Raudha wanted a simple cake... similar like Elsa's that we've made before... but without the heart shape and without the box...

Raudha loves grey and white, her mum request it to have dash of pink in order to suit the rest of hantaran...

With a short notice given, with a guidelines from Raudha and her mum....its simple from my eyes, but certain people think less is more... for us here in RizqCakes, we will try our level best in meeting customer's expectation and request...Alhamdulillah, Raudha is happy with the outcome and she smsed me on how happy she is with the cake... Never watched Jake and the pirates before...my kids mungkin pernah nengok but not us... never made and deco Jake and the pirates theme before...But that doesnt stop us to come out with this cake...

Hasif, the bright bday boy loves this cartoon very much, requested for Jake and the pirates cake...Dilla came and discussed with me briefly around 2 months before the event date... on what she wanted and expected..

This is Mat... a happy dad..smiling while taking the cake for the cake cutting...

Well, its never easy actually to make customer's smile... for this particular cake and occasion, i can describe as "breathtaking"... the moment, we assemble the cake at thier house, Hasif was jumping and keep saying "Oh ma go... jake n payet... take a look!..aweaome " (Oh gosh! jake and the pirate, take a look, its awesome)... we missed to capture how his face look like but it was really really made our day... yes, actually we are so far did our level best of all our cakes but its not always we can experience this kind of moment...either we do not know the customer too well or either we cant attend the bday party due to our prior arrangement... but this time, Alhamdulillah despite few other family matters happened earlier, we've made it to the event...

for dilla and mat, as long as Hasif happy, they will be happy too....

Hasif and mummy blowing candle... from the moment he blew the candle..he was guarding the cake for few minutes afraid someone took away his Jake... and everytime he saw his mum cut the cake, he keep saying "Its gone! Its gone!"...

Thanks Ellie for the order, and of course for these 2 photos... Ellie wanted a rainbow layer cake with a cream cheese icing with a fondant figurine or Ariel wearing dress...

We are worry, really worry of :-

1. our princess figurine not as nice as our bob the builder...if u understand what i meant...our human figurine not as nice as our cartoon character figurine...so we are worry about that but Ellie confident with us... Alhamdulillah...

2. Ellie wanted the rainbow cake with 6 layers of cake with layers of cream cheese in between...with just cream cheese topping and without fondant... my worry is my cream cheese is bit soft, easy to melt... well well welll... many other bakers have very nice smooth and stable cream cheese but not ours... But, if Ellie is confident with us, why not ourselves give a try kan...

Ellie is kind heartedly sent me email and both photos here, informing me that she and the rest of her family including her mother in law and of course the lucky bday girl are very happy with the cake... despite just a simple deco (i believe the beauty of rainbow layer cake lies on the cake itself...the colorful cake...instead of the outer layer deco)... according to Ellie, the cake fit the overall table setting and deco...
Alhamdullilah... May Allah granted us more energy and creativity to keep baking and decorating more and more tasty and beautiful cakes/cupcakes in the future...

ila tau blog ila ni tak la ramai sgt reader, tp ila nak share juga pasal Norma ni..Norma ni adik ipar Moon (kawan baik ila). ila kena Moon dah lama, dari zaman belum kahwin lagi. sekarang Moon dan keluarga dalam kesusahan. Moon dan keluarga ni baik2 org nya, bukan jenis suka meminta2 tp skrg ni walaupun segan Moon dan keluarga perlukan bantuan.

Norma skrg diagnosed with Brain Cancer Stage 4. Those yang nak baca detail tentang Norma blog visit blog Moon (http://miera301.blogspot.com/). Mungkin ila dah terlambat nak update and blog pasal ni sbb sure ramai dah tau, takde masa plus tak leh nak log in kat blogspot. tp takpe la kan walaupun lambat mungkin ada org tak tau lagi pasal ni.
ila tak pandai nak cerita sebenarnya tp memang sedih sgt sgt tentang penderitaan Norma dan Talib ni. norma and Talib baru je kahwin last year. lepas kahwin norma terus pregnant, sepanjang setahun berkahwin Norma duduk di Pontian sebab dia mengajar di Sekolah di Pontian, while Talib pulak bekerja di Jusco Balakong (btw, Talib ni kebetulan staff adik ipar ila).

siapa sangka kan Norma yang sihat dan merupakan cikgu terus sakit kritikal lepas bersalin baby Rafiq, Norma kena sakit kepala yang teruk sgt. Moon cerita masa tu Norma rasa dia nak hantuk hantuk kan kepala dia ke dinding sebab tak tahan sakit. masa tu norma duduk rumah Moon and Sutan. Alhamdulillah Norma dapat keluarga mertua yang penyanyang dan ambil berat. Kesian pada baby Rafiq jugak, tak pernah dapat rasa belaian dan susu ibu sendiri. Org lain biasanya kalau baru dpt first baby tentu tgh happy, memang berbeza dgn nasib Norma dan Talib, tp tu ler kan ujian Allah SWT ni kita tak boleh nak sangkal, pasti ada kihmah di sebaliknya.

after few days, Mama Sutan bawa Normapergi Hospital Putrajaya...memula takde sesiapa sangka yg Norma kena brain cancer. tp after series of test, it is positive yang Norma ada brain tumor. Lepas tu Norma dipindah kan ke Hospital KL.

Dah 5 kali Norma kena operate tapi nampaknya tumor Norma makin membesar and according to doctor cancer Norma ni aggressive. Moon ckp Norma dah Cancer Stage 4. Doktor semua dah surrender dan mintak bawa Norma balik ke rumah. Tapi Talib sebagai suami takkan nak menyerah macam tu aje. Macam tu jugak Moon and ahli keluarga yang lain. Kena la terus berusaha dan berdoa, mana tau kan kalau Allah SWT perkenan doa mereka dan jumpa cara perubatan yang sesuai mungkin ada jalan untuk menyembuhkan Norma.

Tangan Norma yang lebam lebam tu bekas kena cucuk byk sgt...

Sekarang mereka sekeluarga memerlukan bantuan kewangan, iye la walaupun untuk rawatan alternatif, tetap memerlukan belanja yang tinggi. Norma cuma mampu berbaring jadi kalau nak dibawa berubat ke mana mana, Norma perlu naik ambulance. Kos ambulance, kos pampers, susu Norma... itu tak termasuk kos untuk baby Rafiq. Walaupun Talib ni bekerja tp semenjak Norma sakit, Talib jarang dpt kerja penuh.

baru baru ni ila ada lancarkan tabung amal cake untuk norma kat FB, Alhamdulillah dapat sambutan. skrg ni masih ada permintaan tentang jualan amal ni tp sbb ila kesuntukan masa ila tak dpt buat. tp adik ila Marina yang jual kek and macaroon pun sedang plan untuk buat jualan amal ni. nanti kalau ada ila announce kat sini ye.

Semoga Allah SWT akan permudahkan kehidupan mereka berdua ni. iyela kan dugaan org lain2, ini masa mereka, masa kita tak tau bila. jadi kalau ada yang diluar sana sudi nak bg sumbangan, tak kisah la RM5 ke or seberapa ikhlas boleh la contribute terus ke akaun

Nomi ordered this cake for irma surprise birthday party and want it to look like a wall climber in action.. and hanging.. how should we do it? at first, we are quite blur.. but then, we remembered the DC cupcakes style of attaching their cupcakes on any shape of what ever thing they want. then we start making some frame to hold the cakes.. then come the tricky part.. to make the cupcakes hold on their spot.. after some trial and error, finally we managed to put it all together.. here it is..

When Haleyna contacted me roughly 1 month before the event date, i was puzzled....What is Angry Birs?? LOL punya la glamor game ni and I dont even have a clue about it...

In order for us to make the cake and to have the feeling about the game, Then we started googling and downloading the game...proudly to say I accomplished all levels already... we are thinking hard, cemana la nak buat block ni...hehehe nak guna crispy treat tp tak pernah buat crispy treat... at last we used wafer chocolate then cover with fondant.. yeyyy I am happy with the result.
